It’s been a while .

New RangeI cannot believe it’s October. We have been so busy, but we have survived the peak wedding season again.

Since the last time I wrote we attended the Odyssey Wedding Fair in the first weekend in September, this was followed by the Clandeboye Wedding Fair.

Both were very successful for us. We presented a new range of cakes, all of which received positive comments (Thank you).
We will be presenting them again at the Culloden Wedding Fair on Sunday 25th October, do come and see us.

We also have had two exciting articles published in the Autumn, one in the Ulster Bride and the other in White Wedding Pages. It was a bit nerve wracking, I would be interested in your comments on them.

We have had the privilege of dealing with so many lovely Brides and Grooms since I last updated. Many different designs, some beautiful traditional cakes, some chocolate “Wahoo’s” and some “alternative” creations.

Our latest “alternative” creation was two cars, a Porche 911 and a Lamborgini. The cakes were carved and decorated in the style of the photographs, given to us by the groom. The finished product was certainly eye-catching. We received a thank you from the bride and groom in sunny Mauritius."Where do we out all this? "

I little humor was added with a model of the bride and groom trying to get their honeymoon luggage into the respective cars.

“We both just wanted to thank you for creating a fabulous cake for us on our wedding day. We have never heard so many people commenting on the cake before!!!! It must be the most photographed cake in a long time!! It was heartbreaking to scratch the paintwork let alone having to put a knife through it.Thanks again form sunny Mauritius.”

On a more classical theme we have created these cakes.
