Three of our Birthday cakes. These birthday cakes span a very wide age range, from Peppa pig for a 3rd birthday through the boxing theme cake for a 40th birthday to the Armchair theme cake for an 80th birthday.
The Bride sent us individual photos of the guests in this top table with the seating plan. We created each guest by modeling them in sugarpaste. This was a very time consuming cake, but the end product is magnificent to present as a wedding cake. There are three 10″ square cakes, sandwiched side by side to give the top table shape. The board needed to accommodate this cake was 36″ long by 18″ wide. Have a look at the pictures, the first one is a picture of the cake near the beginning of the process.
This weeks wedding cake delivery to Lough Erne Golf Resort, a long way with one of the largest cakes we have delivered!.
Because it had six tiers, we had to transport it in two half’s and finish it at the hotel. The bottom tier started with a 16″ round fruit cake. The other tiers were chocolate, coconut and pineapple, coffee, lemon and finally maderia. The cake was decorated with bridal ivory satin ribbon round each tier. A bow made with broader ivory ribbon and chiffon was draped from the fifth tier. This was finished off with a pearl and diamonte broache. The brides mother provided the Belleek bride and groom for the top tier. We also provided cupcakes for the welcome reception before the main meal.

Ninety percent of wedding cakes, we deliver and set up on the day of the wedding.
Most of them are fairly local, however this one was certainly further afield.
We had to find the marquee in Co. Meath west of Dublin!
We only arrived thanks to our iPhones’ satnav “app” !

The cake was a three tier classic style, dressed with 33mm ribbon, topped with 3mm diamonte.
Some humor was added to the top tier, with a sugar-craft Bride and Groom.

Four Tier Novelty Wedding Cake

How We Met
Tier two: The groom wrote “WILL YOU MARRY ME” in the sand, unfortunately, by the time the bride looked round, the tide had wash half of it away, leaving “WILL YOU MADDV”.

These two cakes were delivered to the Culloden hotel on Saturday 19th. I think the 4 tier novelty cake looks really well in the Stuart suite, while the smaller cup cake wedding cake looks the part for the smaller reception. This one had 36 muffins plus the cake on top.

We delivered a wedding cake to the Museum in Belfast on Saturday! The transformation could only start after 17:00, when the museum was closed to the public.
17:30- Progress by Sarah B‘s team was impressive. By 18:15 the cake and the flowers
(by David McConkey) were finished too.
The cake was a tower of chocolate muffins. Each muffin was chocolate fudge cake topped with chocolate fudge and a yellow sugarcraft flower to complement the brides floral arrangment.
The high ceiling and ultra modern interior were complemented beautifully, resulting in a very different and dramatic setting.
